In a series of large format photographs entitled 'Saved by Science,' photographer Justine Cooper went behind the scenes at the American Museum of National History in New York. Her photographs are both stunning and thought provoking, in many cases documenting the intersection of monumental scientific discovery and the cracks and crevasses in curating. The photographs below are only a fraction of the engaging slide-show over at Seed. (I realize this is a bit old...but enjoyable nonetheless)
