Great idea for a bus system! Proposed by the Shenzhen Hashi Future Parking Equipment Co., Ltd, the "Straddling" bus is a high passenger load bus that operates on major roads, but hovers on a track above vehicles. The system would not require the heavy infrastructure of a subway line, and could reduce traffic by up to 30%, it is also reported to save up to 860 ton of fuel per year, reducing 2,640 tons of carbon emissions. Hopefully, the model is to be put into pilot use in Beijing’s Mentougou District within the next year.
