New evidence of a once inhabitable period on Mars! Vast glaciers found in the middle latitudes of the planet indicate a 'snowy period' in Mars' past. This new evidence has led researchers to conclude there were also warmer periods on the planet, warm enough in fact to create liquid water, causing similar conditions to that which makes life possible on earth! This also gives scientists a more plausible scenario for a manned mission to the red planet. Amazing!
